Eagle Concrete Systems Donates $5,000 to Builders Care
FORT MYERS, Fla. (Nov. 20, 2007) – Eagle Concrete Systems recently donated $5,000 to the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA) Builders Care program. Eagle’s donation will help the nonprofit company provide free home repair services to needy elderly, disabled and economically disadvantaged Lee County residents.
Builders Care is the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee BIA. The organization enlists the volunteer services of Lee BIA members and leverages grants and donated materials to provide construction and remodeling services to qualified homeowners throughout Lee County.
Local home builders and BIA members have pledged more than $50,000 to Builders Care since February 2006 to help fund 11 projects, including three extreme home renovations.
Founded in 1991, Fort Myers-based Eagle Concrete Systems is a full-service structural concrete company, specializing in commercial and industrial construction. Services include layout, structural concrete forming, flatwork placement and finishing, and masonry and tilt-wall construction. In 2001, Michael and Carmel Leannah purchased Eagle Concrete Systems and have focused the company’s efforts on mid-sized and large commercial projects.
